BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, HALESTORM, YOUNG GUNS To Join Forces For 'HardDrive Live 5' Tour
January 15, 2013United Stations Radio Networks' nationally syndicated radio show "HardDrive" has announced that Welsh metallers BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE will headline the fifth annual "HardDrive Live" tour. Support on the trek, which is produced by Ledge Entertainment, will come from HALESTORM and YOUNG GUNS. Tour dates will be announced next week at www.harddrivelivetour.com.
BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE's fourth studio album, "Temper Temper", which is scheduled for release on February 12. The LP will be available in both standard and deluxe editions on RCA Records.
"Temper Temper" was once again produced by Don Gilmore (LINKIN PARK, GOOD CHARLOTTE),who worked on the group's last LP, 2010's "Fever", and was mixed by noted engineer Chris Lord-Alge (DEFTONES, NICKELBACK, AVENGED SEVENFOLD).
HALESTORM was nominated for a Grammy Award on December 5, 2012 for "Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance," for the song "Love Bites (So Do I)".
HALESTORM is up against ANTHRAX, IRON MAIDEN, LAMB OF GOD, MARILYN MANSON and MEGADETH in the category.
"Love Bites" is taken from HALESTORM's second album, "The Strange Case Of…"
The song hit No. 1, making HALESTORM the first female-fronted act in history to top the Active Rock chart.
"HardDrive" with Lou Brutus debuted on July 5, 1996. With 120 radio stations broadcasting the show, "HardDrive" is America's longest-running program, supporting the careers of hundreds of groups, from KORN to FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH. Multi-platinum metal band SLIPKNOT received some of their first national airplay on the two-hour weekend syndicated show. United Stations acquired the series in 2001, and in 2007 originator/producer Roxy Myzal developed the much longer, five-night-a-week brand extension, "HardDrive XL", also featuring Lou Brutus. Myzal has been awarded RadioContraband's Non-Traditional Rock Programmer of the year for 2011 and 2012.
